Rem Sari: The Artist's Instinct
From childhood instinct to the jams of Brussels: my journey is a quest for vocal and corporal freedom.
A childhood memory
One of my earliest memories is of me as a child dancing like no one was watching. I've been questioning the meaning of creativity since I was very little. Trained as a graphic and web designer, it was self-knowledge that changed everything.
The Revelation
I had already been practicing dance for years when everything shifted. One day, at a jam, I was pushed onto the stage when no singer was available. The crowd forced me to take the microphone. It was a shock: I heard myself fully for the first time. Drawing on my experience in movement, I transposed that freedom of improvisation to singing to create my method.
"Improvisation is the state where you are in the flow, without being conscious of yourself. It's a creative liberation."— Rem Sari
Passing on this freedom
For 7 years, I've been guiding my students to unblock their expression. Blocks are rarely technical: they are in the body and mind. My mission is to give you the keys to remove what holds back your natural voice.
